Start
1. Getting connected:
Select File->Options->Connection to setup your settings for proxy servers or use the Dial-Up settings of your device to get connected.
2. Loading a document from the web:
Enter a valid web address in the text field at the top of the application window.
Press the
button.
3. Navigating:
Tap the
and the
button to walk back or forth to previously loaded documents.
Tap
to reload the currently displayed document.
Tap
to cancel the load in progress (Note: See File->Options->Connection
for setting of a timeout).
4. Panes
CCBrowse incorporates three dedicated panes to display your favorites, the history of recent documents or the currently loaded web content.
Tap this button (Command View->Favorites)
to display your favorites:
Tap this button (Command View->History)
to display a list of previoulsy visited documents:
Tap this button (Command View->Document)
to display the currently loaded document.
5. Frames
CCBrowse will automatically detect if a web document contains frames. It will then display a visual rendering of the frames as they would appear on the screen of a desktop PC:
Select the different elements by tapping the associated links in the bottom half of the screen.
6. Opening files locally
You can anytime open HTML documents or graphics by selecting File->Open File... A dialog will then prompt you for a file name and directory.
7. Downloading files
Select the link of the file to download. CCBrowse will prompt you for the target folder and name of the file:
Tap "Ok" to begin the download.
